Our mission at Tadcaster Theatre and Dance School is to provide students of all levels with more than just dance classes, but a unique experience in which the student can grow both emotionally and physically as a dancer. Our highly trained and certified instructors have a wealth of experience in teaching and performing various styles and disciplines. Here at Tadcaster Theatre and Dance School, we have a passion for the art of dance and for helping others discover their inner dancer. Classes are currently running for 3-7 years old. Classes We Offer
Embrace Your Love of Dance
Currently Running Saturday:
-Session 1 9am-10am
-Session 2 10am-11am
Designed for pre school to reception age children (3-5 years). Students must have turned 3 years old before the start of the Year (September 2023).
This class introduces the fundamentals of movement and dance, explored through song, character and imagination. The class includes the beginnings of theatre dance such as ballet, tap, jazz and gym. Currently Running Saturday:
11am - 12:30pm
Designed for year 1 and year 2 children (5-7 years).
This class is designed to hone the basics in beginners dance through the introduction of preparatory syllabus work. This class covers all four theatre dance subjects (ballet, tap, modern and theatre craft). Furthermore the class offers further development in musical theatre and gym. All classes are directed with enthusiasm and passion to create a warm and fun filled environment to develop the love of dance!
